Coffee Purists. Dogpatch Originals.

Piccino Coffee Bar has been pulling espresso and baking from scratch in San Francisco's Dogpatch since 2006. No fluff. No fuss. Just great coffee and the people who make it.

Who We Are

Twenty Years of Coffee. One Standard.

Piccino Coffee Bar has been a neighborhood institution since 2006. We do espresso, drip, house-made pastries, and a rotating selection of prepared foods. Everything is made with the same attention the restaurant brought to the table — simple ingredients, done right, every time.

We've Always Bet on the Best.

We support upstart coffee roasters — and always have.

Before Blue Bottle had a second location, Piccino was their first commercial account. Same with Sightglass. We have a long history of finding the roasters worth believing in before anyone else does — and right now, that's Bassline Coffee out of Oakland.

Brad Katz built Bassline from the ground up after the pandemic and has been roasting some of the most interesting, approachable, flavor-forward coffee in the Bay. Light roasts that taste like fruit. Dark roasts that actually hold up as espresso. Everything in between, sourced and selected with care for the farmers behind it.

That's the coffee in your cup.

Events

Every Friday evening, Piccino Coffee Bar opens up for our weekly dog meetup. Bring your pup, grab a drink (alcoholic or not), and let the dogs sort it out. We make a whipped half-and-half "Puccino" treat for the four-legged crowd. It's become a real Dogpatch tradition — and a good excuse to end the week right.
